Typical applications

X52(L360) is normally specified for LSAW and HSAW linepipe for oil and gas transmission, high-pressure trunk lines, sour-service flowlines, and pipe fittings and bends.

We supply it cut to size by plasma, laser or waterjet, with edges machined or flame-cut to your drawing, and can deliver in the heat-treatment condition your fabrication procedure requires.

Delivery condition

TMCP or normalized, in PSL1 or PSL2. PSL2 supplementary requirements and HIC / SSC testing to NACE are available for sour service.

• Plate 6 – 200 mm thick, width to 4 000 mm, length to 14 000 mm
• CNC plasma, flame and laser cutting from your DXF / DWG drawing
• Normalizing, quenching and tempering, and PWHT simulation
• Edge bevelling, drilling, rolling to diameter on request

Inspection and certification

PSL2 supplementary requirements (SR1–SR18); HIC / SSC testing to NACE for sour service; UT to EN 10160; EN 10204 3.1 / 3.2 mill test certificate

Seaworthy packing — bottom skids, steel strapping, VCI film and edge protection — is standard for sea freight. Container loading plans with piece weights are issued before shipment.
