Typical applications

S355G10+N is normally specified for jack-up legs and spud cans, fixed and mobile offshore platform structures, wind-turbine installation vessels, and heavy marine lifting equipment.

We supply it cut to size by plasma, laser or waterjet, with edges machined or flame-cut to your drawing, and can deliver in the heat-treatment condition your fabrication procedure requires.

Delivery condition

Normalized or TMCP as specified. Through-thickness (Z-direction) testing to EN 10164 and CTOD testing are available on request.

Seaworthy packing — bottom skids, steel strapping, VCI film and edge protection — is standard for sea freight. Container loading plans with piece weights are issued before shipment.

About the equivalent grades. S355G10+N is nearest to EN 10225. These designations sit at a comparable strength and toughness level, but chemistry limits, impact temperatures and permissible thickness ranges differ between standards. Treat the comparison as a starting point for engineering review, not as a declaration of interchangeability.
